Upgraded!^' untersucht das Thema Müll und präsentiert Ansätze zur Verarbeitung von Abfall, bei denen am Ende wertvolle Produkte herauskommen. Gemeinsam mit sieben Kuratorinnen und Kuratoren aus Europa, Lateinamerika, Nordafrika-Nahost,Ostasien, Subsahara-Afrika, Südasien und Südostasien hat das ifa insgesamt 53 Designerinnen und Designer versammeltund sie Wertschöpfung als Wertschätzung in unterschiedlichen Kontextualisierungen durchspielen lassen.
